1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Dish Discovery. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our application and services. By accessing or using Dish Discovery, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our service.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • Keep your password secure and confidential.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use our Service. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission.

3. Your Content and Conduct

You are solely responsible for the content you create, submit, or post on Dish Discovery. You agree not to use the Service to create, store, or share any content that:

  • Is defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or invasive of another's privacy.
  • Promotes hateful conduct, including discrimination based on race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
  • Promotes dangerous or illegal acts, such as self-harm, violence, or the use of inedible or harmful substances in a culinary context.
  • Is sexually explicit or profane.
  • Infringes on any third party’s intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or patents.

We reserve the right to moderate, screen, or remove any content that violates these standards at our sole discretion.

4. Intellectual Property

The Dish Discovery application, its content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Dish Discovery and its licensors. Our trademarks, trade names, and other proprietary rights cannot be used without our prior written consent.

By submitting content to the Service, you grant Dish Discovery a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service. You retain all of your rights to your content.

5. Moderation and Enforcement

We reserve the right to take enforcement action against any user who violates these Terms. Enforcement actions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Removing violating content.
  • Issuing a warning.
  • Temporarily suspending or permanently terminating your account and access to the Service.

We use automated systems and human review to detect violations. Repeated violations will result in escalating enforcement actions.

6. Termination of Service

We may suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of Dish Discovery at any time, for any reason, without notice. Reasons for termination may include a breach of these Terms, requests by law enforcement, or prolonged inactivity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Please refer to our Legal Disclaimer for information on the limitations of the content provided by our service.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dish Discovery and its developers from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of your jurisdiction without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the "Last Updated" date at the top of the Terms and, in some cases, provide additional notice (such as an in-app notification). Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
